Rio de Janeiro, 1929. Isaltino, an 8-year-old boy, receives the news of the death of his mother, Sebastiana, and his younger siblings. Decades later, Isaltino’s son uncovers more details about the story and begins to question what really happened to his grandmother and uncles.
