This one-hour special honoring two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington for his extraordinary creative contribution to cinema is respectful yet, thanks to host Jamie Foxx, often irreverently hilarious. Top Hollywood stars gather to celebrate his extraordinary and diverse career as he receives the 2002 American Cinematheque Award. Compelling film clips and entertaining montages from his 20-year film career are introduced, with personal anecdotes, by co-stars and colleagues including Halle Berry, Bruce Willis, Angela Bassett, Robert Downey, Jr, Ethan Hawke, and Keanu Reeves.
